Seedlings prone to damping off so growers may use a fungicide as part of cultural practices. Growers will soak seed in running water for 24 hours or soak in Hydrogen Peroxide prior to sowing or stratifying to remove any mold spores on the seed surface. Seed coat is papery layers which can trap mold spores. |
