Comments: |
This seed is not dried down completely and is collected green form the tree so it should not develop a hard seed coat.. Non dried seed can be sown in the Fall for germination the following Spring. Non dried seed will not require the warm stratification or will require a reduced warm stratification period. Non dried seed has fewer seeds per pound when compared to dried seed. Seeds collected in the Fall prior to drying on the tree can be sown at once (before drying) for germination the following Spring. Green usually has a lower cut than the dry. |
Germination info: |
90-120 days cold stratification. A short warm stratification or early Fall sowing to allow Mother Nature to warm stratify should prove beneficial. |
|
A Trial Packet contains a minimum of 5 - 30 seeds depending on the size of the selected seed.
