Comments: |
East Coast sources are said to be more salt tolerant and phytophera/phomopsis blight resistant. Collected in coastal MA areas. The warm stratification is to soften up the seed coat to allow the entry of water. Some growers will do a hot water treatment instead of the warm stratification. Some growers sow outside in the late Summer for germination the following Spring. Mother Nature will do the treatment for you (warm/cold). Blue berries look nice in the Fall into the Winter. |
Germination info: |
Seed requires 30 days warm stratification followed by 90-120 days cold stratification |

A Trial Packet contains a minimum of 5 - 30 seeds depending on the size of the selected seed.
