Light is essential for germination. Sow in media temperature of 70 Deg. F. Total germination may take up to 50 days but the majority of seed will germinate by day 28. A gibberilic acid soak (500 mg/l) for 24 hours followed by 30 days cold moist stratification has been used. The foliage is of this plant is the "lemon leaf" of florists. Flower color ranges from white to pinkish. |
