Comments: |
Seed count ranges from 3,800-4,500/lb. pending crop year conditions. Native Flowering Dogwood Tree. Tree is self infertile and must cross pollinate to produce viable seed. Seed source dictates cold hardiness of seedlings. Southern USA source seed can not be grown in cold areas up North or freeze damage will occur. Northern source seed can be sown in Southern areas and grown to be re-sold in Northern areas as hardy seedlings. What is important is the genetics of the seed source you are using. Very Important. |
