Comments: This seed has high moisture and molds quickly . Store cold and pack loose . OPEN BOX AT ONCE AND REFRIGERATE .32-34 seeds/lb. Do not over dry or the seed will die. Seeds with roots emerging will have the roots killed by freezing. Flowers are red or yellow. Soaking the seed too long in water (more than 24 hours ) may cause the seed to swell too much. The swelling of the seed may cause the seed endosperm and seed coat to split, damaging the seed.
Germination info: Soak seed in water 24 hours . A short cold moist stratification of 30 days will help increase the speed, uniformity and % of germination.
A Trial Packet contains a minimum of 5 - 30 seeds depending on the size of the selected seed.
