Comments: |
The wood from this tree is prized in the furniture industry. Northern sources need a warm stratification of at least 45 days. Best results are by timing the sowing of the seed to achieve the warm stratification period prior to cold temperatures arriving. Poor results from artificially stratifying the seed. 3-5 day water soak before sowing or stratifying - changing the water every 24 hours. |
Germination info: |
Seed requires 30-60 days warm stratification followed by 90-120 cold. Soak in water at room temperature for 48 hours & change the water after 24 hours prior to the warm stratification. A few drops of Lemon Juice in the water will improve the results |

A Trial Packet contains a minimum of 5 - 30 seeds depending on the size of the selected seed.
