Comments: |
We are told that a cold stratification prior to sowing for root development proves superior to sowing seed for root development with no prior cold stratification.. Mixed flower colors though typically white. You could warm stratify until roots develop while in the bag then cold stratify in the bag as detailed then sow the seeds in flats in the greenhouse. Also you could time sowing outside to achieve the same pre-treatment by Mother Nature. |
Germination info: |
Sow seed in a media temp. 70-85 degrees until roots develop (note comments below per cold stratification) then refrigerate the flat @ 34-41 degrees F for 60-80 days . Then remove flat and back to 70-85 degrees again. Germination should be within 2 months |
