Comments: Hard seed coat inhibits germination. A short cold stratification will improve germination % and speed / uniformity of germination once the seed coat has been scarified. If you stratify a non scarified seed nothing will happen as the hard seed coat will not allow the entry of water. Some of the seeds will be scarified in the cleaning process.
Germination info: Seed requires a scarification prior to sowing followed by a cold moist stratification. Minimum of 30 days cold stratification but some growers will do longer.
A Trial Packet contains a minimum of 5 - 30 seeds depending on the size of the selected seed.
